What Is Prebiotic Fiber, and Why Is There 23g in a Candy?
A plain-English guide to the fiber doing the heavy lifting in every bag of GLiTCH.

Fiber, but make it useful
Fiber is the part of plant foods your body doesn't fully digest. Prebiotic fiber is a type that your gut bacteria can use as food. When they ferment it, they produce compounds linked to digestive health. Think of it as feeding the good guys.
Most of us aren't getting enough
The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend roughly 25 to 38g of fiber a day depending on age and sex, and most people get well under that. One bag of GLiTCH has 23g, which is a big chunk of the gap in a format people actually want to eat.

Where ours comes from
GLiTCH uses soluble tapioca fiber, made from the cassava root. It dissolves cleanly, has a neutral taste, and gives gummies a satisfying chew. That's why it does double duty: it replaces most of the sugar a normal gummy would need and builds the texture at the same time.
Start slow if fiber is new to you
23g is a lot if your usual diet is low in fiber. If that's you, start with half a bag, drink some water, and let your body adjust. Most people settle in within a few days.
How it adds up
Fiber is a carbohydrate, so it shows up in the 27g total carbs on our label. Subtract the 23g of fiber and you're left with about 4g of net carbs per bag.
FAQ
Is prebiotic fiber the same as probiotics?
No. Probiotics are live bacteria. Prebiotics are the fiber those bacteria feed on.
Will 23g of fiber upset my stomach?
If you're not used to much fiber, it can at first. Start with half a bag and drink water. GLiTCH has no sugar alcohols, which are a more common cause of candy-related stomach trouble.
What are net carbs in GLiTCH?
About 4g per bag: 27g total carbohydrate minus 23g fiber.
